Habitat: chameleons are arboreal animals. Almost all chameleons, and in particular, Furcifer Pardalis, are highly territorial and quite solitary animals. They can sometimes be quite content to live in a very small territory.
Diet: chameleons feed on insects, which they capture with their tongue, which can sometimes be as long as their body.
Threats: the chameleon is threatened by habitat loss.
Protective measures: it is protected under the Washington Convention.
