Nausicaa

Who are we?

Nausicaá’s mission
NAUSICAA, the French National Sea Centre in Boulogne-sur-Mer (France), is much more than just an aquarium. It is a unique centre for the discovery of the marine environment which is fun, educational and scientific all at the same time, focusing mainly on the relationship between mankind and the sea.

Towards the Blue Society
The aim of the Blue Society is to cater for society’s present and future needs in a spirit of “positive” growth by harnessing the enormous potential that the global ocean offers us.

Milestones in Nausicaá’s history
Since its opening in 1991, Nausicaá has experienced many milestones that have made the centre one of the largest aquariums in Europe.
